Our Client is a global engineering consulting company. For their team in Poland (Warsaw HQ), the company is looking for an experienced, open, communicative, and motivated person who will join their team as a Contract Solutions Manager to focus on the avoidance, mitigation, and resolution of complex construction and engineering disputes.

Responsibilities:
-
Acquisition and implementation of services in the field of customer support in disputes, claims, mediation, and contract management,
-
Managing the Contract Solutions team together with ad-hoc teams, depending on the complexity of the project,
-
Acting as an internal Project Manager, ready to provide assistance at every stage of the construction process, delivering qualitative, cohesive, and comprehensive advice to the clients,
-
Supervising the resolution of disputes usually concerning the technical and time assessment of contract performance as well as those legal aspects that fall within the scope of construction law, norms, technical conditions as well as good practices and standards for the implementation of construction contracts,

Communication with client’s representatives, internal specialists, and decision-makers as well as external technical, economical, and judicial experts,

Constantly offering a substantive contribution to the implemented projects together with high standard accuracy.
Requirements:
-
Degree in engineering or construction management discipline – quantity surveyor or similar,
-
At least 5 years of experience in contract consulting and at least 3 years of experience in drawing up claims on your own (or as a leader of the claiming team),
-
Experience in the implementation of CS services in a company with a consulting profile and the implementation of CS services for various parties of the construction process (Investor, Contractor, Designer),
-
Full understanding and working knowledge of contract law, construction economics, and understanding of engineering principles in heavy industry, civil and infrastructure projects,
-
Experience in building a business strategy (defining a service portfolio, customer profiling, determining the necessary resources, financial planning),
-
Additional professional qualifications related to construction supervision would be a plus,
-
Being a member of a professional/regulatory organization such as RICS or SIDiR is a major asset,
-
Fluent English (international environment) along with native Polish,
-
Team player, self-motivated, persistent with a hands-on mentality,
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented capacity,
