Eurostat · Dataset updated 10 September 2026 · Accessed 28 September 2026
Annual 2025 unemployment rate for ages 15–74, both sexes, expressed as a percentage of the labour force. Source: Eurostat, annual unemployment dataset.
National figure.
The unemployment rate is unemployed people as a percentage of the labour force (employed plus unemployed). Annual observations should not be labelled as monthly or seasonally adjusted monthly readings.

National unemployment does not measure the availability of property leaders. Use these figures as broad labour-market context, not as evidence of sector-specific candidate supply, senior talent shortages or ease of hiring.
